Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2024

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Lemon Printing ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of our website and printing services.

2. Services

Lemon Printing provides commercial printing services including, but not limited to:

  • Book printing (hardcover, paperback, bound booklets)
  • Card printing (business cards, postcards, marketing cards)
  • Calendar printing (wall calendars, desk calendars)
  • Ticket and voucher printing
  • Custom printing projects

We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason, including orders that we believe may infringe on intellectual property rights or contain inappropriate content.

3. Orders and Quotes

3.1 Quotes

All quotes provided are estimates based on the specifications you provide. Final pricing may vary based on actual production requirements. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

3.2 Order Acceptance

An order is considered accepted when you approve a quote and make the required deposit payment. We reserve the right to cancel orders if we cannot verify payment or customer information.

3.3 Order Changes and Cancellations

Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled. Changes to specifications after production has started may incur additional charges. Please verify all details before approving proofs.

4. Artwork and Files

4.1 File Responsibility

You are responsible for providing print-ready files. While we offer prepress checking services, ultimate responsibility for file accuracy (including spelling, layout, and color) rests with you.

4.2 Proof Approval

Before production, we will provide a proof for your approval. Production will not begin until you approve the proof. By approving a proof, you confirm that the content, layout, and specifications are correct.

4.3 Color Accuracy

Due to variations in monitors and printing processes, we cannot guarantee exact color matching unless you specify Pantone colors. For critical color work, we recommend requesting a physical proof.

5. Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A deposit (typically 30%) is required before production begins.
  • Balance: The remaining balance is due before shipment.
  • Methods: We accept bank transfer (T/T), PayPal, and other methods as agreed.
  • Late Payment: Orders may be delayed if payment is not received on time.

6. Production and Delivery

6.1 Production Time

Production times are estimates and may vary based on order complexity, quantity, and current workload. We will communicate expected timelines during the quoting process.

6.2 Shipping

Shipping times and costs vary by method (air freight, sea freight, express courier). We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance, or other factors outside our control.

6.3 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. We recommend appropriate insurance for valuable shipments.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

You represent that you own or have the right to use all content (text, images, logos, designs) provided for printing. You agree to indemnify us against any claims of intellectual property infringement.

7.2 Our Rights

We retain ownership of all printing plates, dies, and tools created for production unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may use photographs of completed work for portfolio purposes unless you request otherwise.

8. Quality and Returns

8.1 Quality Standards

We maintain quality control throughout production and strive to deliver products that meet professional printing standards. Minor variations in color, trim, and finish are normal in commercial printing.

8.2 Defects and Claims

If you receive products with manufacturing defects, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos. We will investigate and, if a defect is confirmed, offer a reprint, credit, or refund at our discretion.

8.3 No Returns on Custom Work

Because all products are custom-made to your specifications, we cannot accept returns for reasons other than manufacturing defects.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lemon Printing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

10. Confidentiality

We treat your business information, files, and order details as confidential. We will not disclose such information to third parties except as necessary to fulfill your order (e.g., shipping companies) or as required by law.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, supply chain disruptions, or equipment failures.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved under the laws of the People's Republic of China.

13. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
